GLUE amsterdam connected by design
Application Deadline: 1 June 2021
A four-day design-route from and for the Amsterdam designers, architects, brands, showrooms, galleries, academies, and other colleagues.
GLUE amsterdam connected by design connects all locations and provides a substantive and attractive program for colleagues and the public.
In this time of corona and in our current society of social distancing that we will be living in for the foreseeable future, GLUE, with its design route that fans out across the city, is the ideal event. Nevertheless, we ask the exhibitors to follow the guidelines that the City of Amsterdam sets out shortly before the event, to maintain distance, to wash your hands frequently, to be inspired, and to have fun.

On the eve of the three-day festival, prior to the opening cocktails scattered all throughout the city, GLUE is organising a substantive debate at, and in collaboration with, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
What can designers add to Amsterdam? Why are creatives important for the city? We discuss what role design can play in a vibrant and unconventional city like ours.

Navigating the city
GLUE was initiated thanks to nine Founding Partners who recognised the importance of a united creative Amsterdam. Thanks to Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Kvadrat, Robert Bronwasser, Concept Gallery Amsterdam, Kasstoor, Interface, Design Post Amsterdam, Ruud van Oosterhout Design and Contact Amsterdam. Go see their specially programmed exhibitions spread over the city.
Participating locations become GLUE HUBS when they host 5 or more designers and brands. More to see, check it out.
Printed City Map
GLUE maps all participating locations, literally. All addresses are clearly stated on a city map of Amsterdam and are easy to find via a clear index.
