On the eve of the three-day festival, prior to the opening cocktails scattered all throughout the city, GLUE is organising a substantive debate at, and in collaboration with, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
What can designers add to Amsterdam? Why are creatives important for the city? On the basis of a selection of designers, we discuss what role design can play in a vibrant and unconventional city like ours.
The role of the creative in the expensive and overcrowded city is under pressure, but is important for cohesion, living pleasure, and culture. GLUE and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam want to address this topic.
